Christopher collaborates as magic consultant for theatre companies, film productions, and artistic projects. With his experience in live as well as camera magic performances, he’s able to take on board what you want to achieve and make it happen, as if, by magic. Here’s a selection of some of his favourite projects he’s worked on as magician consultant.
ITV invited Christopher's act Norvil & Josephine to perform with Ant & Dec in the commercial for the promotion for the 11th Season of Britain's Got Talent. The advert featured on ITV for several weeks in the lead-up to the new season. Christopher performed a comedy levitation as 'Norvil' in fancy dress before 'magicking' away the trousers of Ant & Dec before they ran out on stage.
Christopher consulted on the theatre company’s new show “A Disappearing Act”. He collaborated with the production team to create magic to integrate into the story. The show has had workshops and previews at Pulse Festival (May 2016) South Hill Park Arts Centre (Feb 2017) and Dugdale Centre (Mar 2017) and is currently in further stages of development.
The luxury menswear brand Canali invited Christopher to consult on and perform in their short film created to promote their latest clothing range. He worked with them as their guest artist to create magical content for the film. Read more about it.
Christopher’s hands contributed to an article featuring the work of photographer Jason Evans for the Autumn/Winter 2015 feature ‘Just Like That’ by Charlotte Cotton. The issue's launch was held in Paris at the legendary Shakespeare & Company, with close-up magic, of course!
Christopher was brought on board to deliver magic for guests to Stella McCartney’s ‘Green Carpet Challenge 2014.’ He occupied one of the themed rooms as he presented table magic to guests who visited his ‘magic parlour’.
As magic consultant for this event at the Troxy Theatre, Christopher created and performed a bespoke 10-minute show around the theme of Jack the Ripper. The project included consultation on material as well as music and costuming created especially for the act.
This project was to create bespoke theatrical performances as part of an exclusive private event for Louis Vuitton, to accompany the opening of the New Bond Street store.
Christopher was the stage presenter for introducing the new Pepe Jeans 2015 collection to a 400-strong audience in Madrid. He incorporated magic relevant to the new collection’s products as well as making a magical costume quick-change.
Magician Hands Model - Pokerstars.com hired Christopher to play the “stunt double” with his hands shuffling and flourishing cards for a commercial campaign.
Christopher appeared as 'Norvil' to open the 2010 Edinburgh Film Festival for the UK premier of Sylvain Chomet's animated feature film The Illusionist. He created a bespoke performance to present from the Royal Box of the Festival Theatre for the 2,000 strong festival audience.
Christopher consulted on magic content and performed for the filming of a tuitional DVD using magic to help inspire children to learn English.
This project was for the London Symphony Orchestra performing in the Barbican Hall. Christopher worked with the producers to decide an appropriate magic repertoire to accent the music at chosen points.
At the concert, the magic-themed music was supported by Christopher's performances as a mysterious cloaked magician.

Christopher acted as magic consultant in collaboration with Francesca Steele who was creating a series of video and photographic installations.
The final version of the series featured her levitation over a bed of lilies.
